About Patrick Tinney (Click here to return to previous page)
Patrick is Managing Partner at Centroid Training & Marketing. He has
an extensive background in Consultative Sales, Business Negotiation,
Customer Service and Product Development. Patrick represented many of
Canada’s largest daily newspapers over a 30+ year career on both a
corporate and local sales basis. With a unique understanding of Retail
Media Sales and Print Manufacturing, Patrick has been placed in a
position to close some of Canada’s largest print media buying deals.
His approach to Consultative Selling and Business Negotiation is three fold:
1. It’s about the customer!
2. It’s about cost conservancy and yield.
3. It’s about smart, wise deals that stand the test of time.

About Consultative Selling and Negotiation Training: Selling products and services in today’s competitive business environment requires superlative preparation, skill and training. Our Learning Vision: Learning or training that is quickly forgotten serves no one. Centroid Consultative Sales and Negotiation Training is not cookie cutter. Our preference is to work with smaller groups of 2 to 12 participants per session. We strive to turn out better graduates who retain our processes and can activate their newly acquired skills immediately. Centroid is about quality not mass. About Centroid Negotiation: The high velocity of today’s business world is creating some unique problems for companies and individuals who have to negotiate contracts or personal affairs. It’s surprising how many of us go about making major decisions requiring astute negotiation skills with just a fraction of the information needed to make great gains or avoid costly mistakes. Negotiating is widely incorporated into our business and personal lives however, as a course of study and understanding it is a topic that proportionately has little written about it. Access to information has never been greater yet; time to execute smart negotiations has never been more compressed.
